The Studio Headshot Session

Forget the anxiety of trying to look your best in front of the camera, forced unnatural posture, or the rushed pace of a traditional photo shoot.

The most important part of taking a great headshot is getting to know you; understanding your goals, passions, and guiding you into a place of natural relaxation. When you’re at work, you’re in your element. This is what I capture with your finished portrait— a snapshot of your personality, showcasing the best aspects of what make you, you.

The Making of a Great Headshot

As we prepare for the shoot, we’ll adjust your wardrobe, adding finishing touches to hair & makeup, and eliminate any possibilities of distracting glare.

Trying a variety of looks and perspectives, we will keep a casual atmosphere. You can rest easy, all the pressure is on me to capture those perfect moments as you’re living them. The cornerstone of my method is bringing your confidence and approachability to the forefront. Once we have a series of images, we’ll review them together and choose that works best for you.

Valuing your input, we will discuss and refine your choices for the post production process. Your high resolution files can be sent to you via online gallery where you can view the selections for proofing.

The whole process never felt like a transaction or that we were "on the clock," and there was never a sense that he would rather be doing anything other than making me and my photographs look great. Highly recommended!
